EKR Gold

EKR Gold is the EKR Digital Network’s “Oldies Station”. It plays music from the ‘60’s,’70’s and ’80’s. With occasional trips into the ‘50’s and early ‘90’s. It has existed as a very popular internet-only radio station for many years now. Its music policy (like that of its sister station EKR Rock) is built around the EKR broadcasting philosophy of offering more music variety in a world where so many radio stations are merely close clones of others. On DAB, the station will continue to offer an extended playlist that far exceeds a typical “Oldies Station” in the UK.

Constant Variety

Constant variety is the goal. So, we strive to bring you “forgotten gems” and “lost classics”.

What Do We Play?

We play great pop and soul music along with a plentiful smattering of rock hits, from the early ‘60s through to the early ‘80s.
